Social Saturday events are generally 4PM–10PM and take place rain or shine! Confirmed guests will receive additional details in the week before the event.

Meals are a signature art form of Mildred’s Lane. Sharing meals together is a performative, imaginative, and social phenomenon, embodying our ethos of art practice. Through hosting countless meals over the years, the “workstyle” of Digestion Choreography has evolved to characterize this dynamic creative labor, which encompasses much more than just cooking.

Social Saturday is an event series that has been taking place for almost two decades, typically encompassing a late-afternoon guest lecture or presentation and a dinner. This summer we will host a handful of ticketed Social Saturday dinners to support our summer residency program. Introducing a sliding-scale ticket structure ($40–$80), attendance will directly support the honoraria of Resident Artists-in-Complexity, session collaborators, and visiting artists. Please note, the event is BYOB.

Please note that Queer Ecologies session fellows & collaborators do NOT have to purchase a ticket for this event. If you are part of the session wish to invite a guest, they will need to purchase a ticket.
